venali files second request for re-examination in j2 global patent litigation
MIAMI, FL. (May 16, 2005) - Venali, a leading provider

second filing in an expected series of Requests For Reexamination of patents
owned or controlled by J2 Global with the United States Patent and Trademark.
The second filing requests that the Patent Office reconsider the validity
of U.S. Patent No. 6,350,066 to Bobo II for "Systems and Methods
for Storing, Delivering, and Managing Messages in light of evidence not
previously known to the Patent Office. J2 Global previously had acquired
the "Bobo" patent portfolio from Net Office Solutions in June
of 2004.
"This new filing is part of our continued effort to invalidate those
patents in the J2 Global patent portfolio which are clearly invalid in
light of evidence not previously available to the Patent Office, regardless
of whether the patents are being asserted against us in litigation"

allow patents that we believe are clearly invalid to interfere with this
process. As with our previous filing in respect to U.S. Patent No. 6,597,688

grant our request."
