Assigning one fax number to multiple users
Multiple recipients can receive the same fax. A single in-bound number
can be assigned to more than one email address.

Receiving an in-bound number
Venali assigns an in-bound number to a single email address. Up to two additional email addresses and/or groups can be added upon request.
Toll-free and certain metropolitan in-bound numbers can be acquired
for an additional fee. This in-bound number is never busy and always available, so multiple faxes can be received simultaneously.

Forwarding existing fax numbers
Existing fax numbers cannot be converted. However, by contacting
your telecom carrier, your number can be forwarded to the Venali fax
to email in-bound number. All faxes sent to your old fax number will then
be received electronically into your email.

Supported file formats for receiving faxes
Venali currently only supports single or multi-page TIFF or PDF files.

Viewing fax documents
You can view the document immediately by simply double-clicking on
the TIFF/PDF file, which will then open directly in your browser window. The document can also be saved, if desired.

Receiving a forwarded fax message with a TIFF attachment
If you received an attachment in TIFF format, try the following:
1) Extract/save the attachment to an easy to access location.
(ex. C:/ or C:/TEMP), 2) Open the attachment with Microsoft Wang Imaging software by following these steps: click on Start, Programs, Accessories, and then Imaging, 3) Once Imaging is open, click on File and then Open. Look for the file you originally saved and click OK.
You now should be able to preview your fax.

Receiving a single TIFF image vs. a PDF
If an error occurs during the transmission, the page(s) may be corrupted and cannot be converted into a PDF or multi-page TIFF. Instead of canceling the fax, Venali still sends the page(s) so you can contact the sender and ask for a complete re-send. If the fax is sent successfully,
you will receive the email in the format of your choice.

Receiving a fax with blank pages
Blank pages are 99.9% of the time the sender's fault. The sender may
have inserted the document upside down. If the caller ID is available
in the subject of the email, you may contact the sender and ask for a
re-send. Venali does not analyze the content of any fax, and therefore cannot notify the sender.

Receiving a misdirected fax
Venali does not analyze the content of any fax, therefore is unable
to advise the sender of the error. If the caller ID is available in the subject of the email, you may contact and advise the sender that
their fax transmission has been misdirected.

Retrieving copies of deleted faxes
Venali keeps a log of your received faxes for 72 hours. If you cannot locate or have deleted some of your received faxes, you may request copies by emailing the Venali Support Team.

Changing an email address
Faxes can be delivered to up to three separate email addresses simultaneously. If your email address changes, Venali will send faxes
to both addresses until the changeover is complete. Simply contact
the Venali Support Team.
